Welcome to the Cancourse! So say the newly erected signs. Please excuse the amateurish design of these temporary signs while a local professional works on something much nicer.

The QR code points to a “welcome sign” landing page that contains additional relevant information. We plan to create various landing pages for signs as we develop online maps, create named trails, close off eroded areas during rehabilitation, etc.

This is the first explicit signage we have posted regarding allowed use. Now is the time to start kindly educating people about what is okay and what isn’t. If you encounter motorcycles or ATVs on the trails and the opportunity arises, convey to the trespassers that they are welcome, but their vehicles are not. Encourage them to remove their vehicles immediately and then come back on foot or via bicycle.
